- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Durham Forest is a jewel. I've been hiking here for nine years, and mountain biking here for one; it's an incredibly well maintained and nurtured environment. There flora is spended including fine examples of the Ontario Trillium, and on the fauna front, just recently I spotted the Barred Owl perched in a tree, studying myself and my family as we were taking a break from cycling. From a MTB perspective, hats off to the local riders and organizations who maintain the trails. Durham Forest has lots of single and double track to keep you busy for a long time.By David Peacock, April 15, 2017
